About Us
PurpleLeap Background

PurpleLeap was founded in 2007 by highly experienced professionals from the Industry.  In 2008, Educomp Solutions Ltd (www.Educomp.com) made a strategic investment in PurpleLeap. Educomp Solutions Ltd, incorporated in 1994, is now the largest technology driven Education Company in India. Educomp group serves over 7 million learners and educators across the world.  In the year 2009, Educomp joined hands with Pearson (www.Pearson.com), the world's largest education company, to enter into a Joint Venture for addressing the need of workplace ready talent. As part of expansion in India, the Pearson-Educomp JV acquired a majority stake in PurpleLeap.

PurpleLeap, with its deep insights into talent management for the industry coupled with Educomp's expertise in delivering large-scale technology enabled learning solutions, is uniquely poised to bridge the anticipated shortage of 500,000 knowledge and service professionals by 2010.

PurpleLeap understands the challenges that organizations face at different stages of recruitment, training and retention of fresh talent. We help organizations accelerate their process of getting a workplace-ready professional and reduce their overall costs by as much as 50%.

PurpleLeap works in partnership with colleges by setting up a network of technology enabled PurpleLeap CareerCenters in the colleges.  The CareerCenter manages the entire cycle of talent assessment, skill-upgradation and placement.

We start by investing in the necessary technology infrastructure at the colleges to enable a PurpleLeap Career Center at the college. The Career Center provides numerous employment opportunities, educates the students about different roles and employers, organizes skill-assessment workshops for identifying skill gaps and conducts skill-upgradation career programs; to finally get the students workplace ready.  The students are assessed and trained for certain industry roles to ensure that they are workplace ready from day-one.

PurpleLeap Expertise:

  • Network of Tech-enabled PurpleLeap CareerCenters in Colleges
  • Career Programs closely mapped to Industry roles
  • Technology enabled talent management (assessment-training-recruitment)

Given the initiative, we enable each student to get a dream career!
