Amit Bansal
Mr Bansal, MBA (XLRI, Jamshedpur), is the founder and CEO of PurpleLeap.
Amit Bansal completed his Electronics Engineering from PEC, Chandigarh in 1995 after which he immediately joined XLRI for his MBA in marketing. For a marketing expert, Asian Paints was one of the best places to soak in on-ground realities of running a business. Stepping into the IT industry with Riverrun, an early stage startup, he focused at delivering customer solutions on cutting edge technologies. Thereon, Amit moved to one of the biggest Indian global players in the CRM space - Talisma. In the 5 years spent in developing and marketing technology products across India, US and Canada, Amit went on to lead the Global Product Management at Talisma.
Chandrashekhar Shetty
Mr. Shetty, M.Tech (ISI, Calcutta), is the founder and head of Technology and Delivery at PurpleLeap.
Chandrashekhar Shetty has over 16 years of experience in the IT industry with Intelliworks, PeopleSoft, Talisma, National Center for Software Technology (now CDAC) and Tata Motors. In his last assignment as the General Manager of India Development Center, Mr. Shetty was responsible for Intelliworks India operations. Prior to that, he led the PeopleSoft CRM development and QA teams in their India center. Prior to that, he led the Engineering team at Talisma for a long time. He also led product support and hosted business at Talisma.
Vinay Nijhawan
Mr. Nijhawan, MBA (XLRI, Jamshedpur) is the founder and head of Corporate Relations and HR at PurpleLeap.
Vinay completed his Post Graduation in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI in 1995. The early formative years were spent in a factory with the largest distillers of the country (UB group). The emergence of tech industry gave a line role to HR managers as compared to any other industry and Vinay made the most of it as the HR head of one of the biggest CRM firms globally. Through the dynamic mergers & acquisitions of Talisma, Vinay led the team across several transitions. His experience in human resource development through the years brought in a keen understanding of the gaps between the educational world and the professional world. A passion of bridging this gap took him to delving into making a fundamental difference to the future of an individual.
