VSAT Infrastructure for Live Audio/Video Interaction

PurpleLeap leverages the power of satellite based 'Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT)' technology to provide an interactive learning platform. This Live and Interactive Learning Platform enables students to have engaging interface with domain experts and fellow students across the country.
As part of this platform, PurpleLeap deploys state-of-the-art studios and multi-media enabled virtual classrooms in colleges. This platform allows both the trainers and the students to visually see each other and interact in real-time as happens in a regular classroom. Additionally, the trainers use a mix of digital and live content to make the learning extremely effective.

These classrooms are equipped with VSAT connectivity for audio, video and data sharing, audio and video recording and projection system. Web Portal for Learning, Interaction and Collaboration Each student gets access to PurpleLeap learning portal where the student gets personalized learning experience. The learning portal leverages the Kolb's method of learning cycle viz assess-train-assess.
Apart from getting personalized feedback, each student gets regular comprehensive reports on the performance and areas of improvement. The complexity of the course is automatically adjusted as per the learning pace of the student.

Personalization Engine
PurpleLeap's Personalization Engine makes the experience of learning extremely personal. Each learner gets the same experience as she gets while getting one-on-one coaching from a seasoned faculty.
The personalization engine consists of two components: Dashboard for Performance Tracking and Dynamic Learning Path for Personalized Learning.  

Dashboard for Performance Tracking

The Dashboard gives a real-time view of the performance of every student. The student gets a snapshot of the overall performance and at the same time gets the skill-level analysis of the performance. The dashboard also provides critical inputs like the areas of strength and areas of improvement for a student at any given moment. This dashboard acts as the personal coach who keeps giving a dynamic view of where one stands.

Unified Learning System
Unified Learning System is the single system for managing assessments, learning experience and the placement process. The system has three key components of Assessment Engine, Learning Management System and Learner Profiling System.

Assessment Engine:

This comprehensive engine is used to assess the proficiency of a candidate on a graded scale across any set of skills. Other than the technology engine, there are more than 20,000 graded test items across more than 100 skill areas.

Learning Management System:

The LMS takes care of managing the entire content around several learning objectives, sequencing learning programs and providing the entire tool set to manage a smooth learning experience.

Learner Profiling System:

This system takes care of managing the learner records and capturing the entire learning cycle for each learner. The system also records the entire lifecycle from enrolment to placement.
